In this article, we will explain how you can see email delivery and engagement information. Every day, recruiters send thousands of emails to prospective candidates from BrightMove, but how do you know if they're actually being delivered and read? In this article, will show you how to find out.
Email Engagement:
When emailing an entity, like a Candidate in the example below, an Activity is automatically created in that entity's profile page.
In that entity's Activities tab, you will a small envelope icon. When the envelope is closed, the email has not been opened. Conversely, when the envelope is opened, you can click the envelope to get more information about the engagement with the entity.
Email Engagement tracks receipt, open and click events.
Tracking Emails Outside of BrightMove:
For our customers who send emails to Candidates or Managers outside of BrightMove and want those emails captured as an Activity in BrightMove, you have the ability to Forward, BCC (recommended), or CC our activity generating mailbox, activity@brightmove.com
Important:
This will only create an Activity for you as long as:
- Your sending/from email address must match the email address in the My Profile section of BrightMove
- The email address you are sending to must be in the profile of the entity you are emailing
