Sometimes you just don't have time to check if a candidate or manager already exists in your BrightMove database, but you also don't want to have mass amounts of duplicate profiles that you have to sort through. Luckily for you, BrightMove has a duplicate check that is performed on each candidate or manager that is uploaded into the system, no matter which way you add them.
To get to the Duplication Fields,
1. Click your picture
2. Click Settings
3. Click Duplication Fields
By default, BrightMove will match on first name, last name, and email address. You can select the different options by toggling them on or off. You can also set different duplication check for CareerBuilder and Monster Sourcing or Apply with LinkedIn profile if you have these options on your account.
