Navigating your workspace as a Recruiter

Updated today

Welcome to Your BrightMove Recruiter Workspace!

We are so thrilled to have you here. This guide will help you get comfortable with your workspace and show you how to easily navigate the tools and pages you will use as a recruiter.

Note: Depending on your permissions, your Dashboard and navigation menu may vary slightly from what’s shown here.

Note on Terminology & Labels
Your company may rename system labels in Company Preferences. You might see different names in your sidebar and pages than the defaults used in this guide. Common examples:
CandidatesApplicants
ManagersContacts
ClientsDepartments
JobsRequirements
This guide uses BrightMove’s default labels.

Navigating Your BrightMove Workspace

When you log in to BrightMove as a Recruiter, you’ll see the main navigation menu on the left side of your screen, as shown below:

Your navigation options are more extensive than those of a Hiring Manager, since recruiters manage both candidate and job pipelines directly.

Here’s a quick overview of each section and what you can do there:

Dashboard

This is the home page you’ll see when you log into BrightMove. It provides a snapshot of your current jobs, candidate pipeline, recent activities, and upcoming tasks.

  • Customize your Dashboard by clicking the Manage Dashboard icon in the top right corner.

  • Choose between the Standard Dashboard (pane layout) and BrightFlow (Kanban-style pipeline view).

  • Add widgets like My Open Jobs, Candidate Pipeline, Recent Activities, Calendar, or Task List to tailor the experience to your workflow.

Note: Does your Dashboard look different than what’s shown? Depending on your permissions, your Dashboard and navigation menu may vary slightly from what’s shown here.
