In this article, you will learn how My Dashboard allows you to easily customize and view the data within your account. Using the Standard Dashboard, you can rearrange panes and adjust the layout of the dashboard. With the BrightFlow Dashboard, you can visualize submittal workflow using swim lanes.
Standard Dashboard
The standard dashboard allows you to arrange the layout and panes of commonly used features within your account. Each user's dashboard is personalized for them. There are a variety of panes that can be displayed on the Dashboard. To manage the layout of your Dashboard, click the icon that looks like 4 blue squares, in the top right of the screen.
From the Manage Dashboard screen, you can drag & drop panes into view based on your preferences.
Available Dashboard Panes
Note: Dashboard panes may vary based on your role, license, personal layout, or team customizations. Differences in appearance are often due to configurations set by your team or admin.
Jobs Awaiting My Approval – Jobs awaiting approval assigned by other Contacts where you are the next approver in the approver chain.
Managed Companies Lookup – Lets you search across companies you manage. Note: Only applies to RPO accounts that have Child Companies under a Parent account (different from the Clients section in HR or Staffing accounts).
My Links – Displays shortcuts to your saved links (internal or external resources).
My Tasks – Helps you manage your daily tasks in BrightMove. It’s connected to your Planner/Calendar and organizes tasks into sections: Active, Due Today, Due This Week, Overdue, and Completed. You can mark tasks complete/incomplete individually or in bulk using checkboxes.
Managed Companies – Displays companies you manage, with quick access to their profiles. Note: Only applies to RPO accounts that have Child Companies under a Parent account (different from the Clients section in HR or Staffing accounts).
My Open Jobs – Shows your open (submittable) jobs with clickable titles, ID#, Status, # of Candidates in viewable statuses, and create date.
Calendar – Displays your BrightMove calendar with upcoming events, interviews, and tasks. Events link directly to related records (candidates, jobs, managers).
Candidate Source Graph – Visualizes where your candidates are coming from (job boards, referrals, direct applications, etc.) over the last 60 days to help track sourcing effectiveness.
Saved Searches – Displays your saved Power Searches for quick access. Click to run a saved search instantly.
Expiring Placements – Lists placements that are reaching their scheduled end dates, helping you manage renewals or offboarding.
Saved BrightReports – Quick access to your saved Ad Hoc reports. (Does not include anything from Back Office reporting.)
Recent Candidates – Displays up to 100 candidates most recently added to the system who have applied in the last 7 days. Each record links to the candidate’s profile for quick review.
Candidate Pipeline – Shows a visual summary of candidates currently in your pipeline, grouped by submittal status. Pipeline panes display results within a set timeframe.
My CRM Pipeline – Provides a view into your personal CRM activity, including prospective clients or contacts you are managing. Displays results within a set timeframe.
Shared Candidate Folders – Displays candidate folders created by other BrightMove users and shared within your account. You can click on folder names to view candidates in each folder, and see how many candidates are in each folder.
Company CRM Pipeline – Provides a broader pipeline view of all CRM activity across your company, useful for sales and recruiting collaboration. Displays results within a set timeframe.
Candidate Folders – Lets you view candidates. See the number of candidates in each folder, click to view contents, create new folders, or refresh to update the list.
Job Aging Summary – Shows jobs that have never had a candidate placed or where candidates didn’t reach a submittal status.
Job Status Graph – Shows a graph format of the number of jobs in each status that is assigned to the manager.
BrightFlow Dashboard
The BrightFlow Dashboard is available by selecting the BrightFlow button at the top-right of the dashboard, underneath your avatar and notification bell.
Once activated, your dashboard will change and display the Open/Submittable jobs. Each swimlane shows the number of Candidates in each submittal status per job.
To go back to the standard dashboard view, select the Dashboard button where the BrightFlow button was originally located.
There are various ways you can adjust and filter the BrightFlow dashboard.
The Job Filter search bar allows you to filter by location (City or State), Job ID, Job Title, Client/Department name, or Manager name. Just type in the box to begin filtering
The number under the filter will update in real time showing how many jobs match your search criteria and the total number of jobs in either the My Open Jobs or All Open Jobs category.
With the Recruiter(s) button, you can filter by jobs by specific recruiters. Click None Selected to pick your recruiter(s) and begin filtering
On the right, these three buttons will let you:
Refresh the BrightFlow dashboard
Toggle view of All Open Jobs in your company
Toggle view of My Open Jobs, which are just the jobs where you are the recruiter

Here, we'll cover additional assorted information pertaining to the BrightFlow dashboard.
In the Swimline Totals row, the totals update in real time as you filter results. It is also sortable by the numerical value in each lane by either ascending or descending value. Simply click the sort option in the right of the lane you which to sort. The large arrow indicates the column you are sorting by and whether it is ascending or descending.
Each row is a separate job. It will include:
Job name
Job ID
Client/Department and Manager
City and state, if available
Job title, Job ID, Manager, and Client/Department are also clickable to view the corresponding profile
Editing BrightFlow Swimlanes:
To edit your BrightFlow swimlanes, go to:
Settings
BrightFlow Setup
From here, you can:
Edit the swimlane titles and colors by clicking the pencil icon
Delete swimlanes by clicking the trashcan icon
Add/remove submittal statuses to swimlanes by dragging and dropping them from the Unassigned section
Add Swimlanes
Discard Changes and start over
Save your changes
