Detailed Change Log
2026.1.0 Release on Tuesday, February 17, 2026
Release 2026.1.0 on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, represents our first production deployment of 2026. This major release contains significant enhancements to communication templates, portal infrastructure, email workflow automation, power search functionality, and analytics integration to improve user experience and system performance.
The following changes were deployed as part of this release:
Client Office Substitution Fields: Added new substitution fields for Client Office Name and Client Office Address in communication templates. Client Office context is now automatically included when there is a requirement context, enabling users to personalize candidate communications with specific client office information when contacting candidates within a requisition.
Portal Attachment Infrastructure Upgrade: Migrated portal application resume storage from legacy PORTAL_ATTACHMENT table to modern S3 infrastructure. Uploaded resumes during portal applications are now stored more efficiently with improved reliability and scalability, with seamless access from the applicant attachment tab.
Basic Qualifications Attachment Download Fix: Resolved error that occurred when attempting to download BQ applicant attachments that didn't have an associated job. Users can now successfully download Basic Qualifications attachments from profile creation and portal applications without encountering errors.
IES Integration Label Update: Updated the SSO flow action button label from "Request BG Check" to "Generate Application" for improved clarity in the Insperity IES integration. The updated label appears in the More dropdown on both applicant submittal tables and job submittal tables.
Automated Sendout Reply Processing: Implemented intelligent email parsing to automatically capture and save contact responses to sendout emails as activities. When contacts with Workbench Access reply to sendout emails (sent to their primary or work email, with no CC/BCC, containing a single applicant), the system automatically creates submittal activities when sent from requirement submittal tab, or user activities for other contexts, streamlining hiring manager feedback collection.
Contact UDF Toggle Fix: Resolved issue where enabled User Defined Field checkboxes on contact profiles would toggle off and not re-enable without a page refresh when the "Tabbed User Defined Fields" preference was enabled. The toggle functionality now works correctly without requiring page refreshes.
Duplicate Detection Enhancement: Fixed error that prevented calculating duplicate applicants when using all eight duplication fields including first/last name and state. Users can now configure and save all duplication field combinations without encountering PostgreSQL function errors, improving duplicate detection for both applicants and contacts.
Multi-Facet Power Search Enhancement: Enhanced power search filtering to allow users to select multiple facets simultaneously for more refined search results. Users can now drill down and drill up through multiple filter dimensions in Job, Contact, and Applicant power searches while maintaining original facet options for improved search flexibility.
Wizdom BI Analytics Authentication Enhancement: Updated Wizdom analytics integration to authenticate via individual user email addresses instead of shared service accounts. This change ensures compliance with business intelligence platform requirements and provides better user tracking across Customer 360 charts, Analytics cycle counts, and Job Dashboard Wisdom features.
Spark Interview Creation Fix: Resolved error that prevented users from creating Spark interviews when jobs didn't have an external application ID. The system now properly loads and sets the SparkHire external key from ext_requirement_link before converting requirements to Spark jobs, ensuring seamless interview creation workflow with proper UUID assignment and activity tracking.

2026.2.0 Release on Friday, March 6, 2026
Release 2026.2.0 on Friday, March 6, 2026, represents our second production deployment of 2026. This release contains significant enhancements to interview management, hiring manager sendout functionality, email verification workflows, job board integrations, and numerous bug fixes to improve overall user experience and system performance.
The following changes were deployed as part of this release:
Hiring Manager Sendout with AI Summary and Email Quick Links: Upgraded sendout email quick links to include comprehensive applicant information including title, company, and location. When sending from requirement submittal tab with Wiz evaluations available, emails now include AI summary insights and radar plot visualizations using the most recent evaluation data for enhanced hiring manager context.
Interview PDF Auto-Generation: Added automatic PDF creation for interview responses with new "Save for Later" and "Save and Done" button options. When users click "Save and Done," the system automatically generates an interview PDF, refreshes the submittal table, and removes the Interview button from both applicant and requirement submittal tables. Fixed related issues allowing users to save questions with empty checkbox answers (displayed as "unanswered") and properly close the exam "add question" modal.
Data Table Checkbox Management Enhancement: Implemented automatic checkbox deselection when users select email or sendout actions from dropdown menus across all data tables. Added entity names to Mass Delete modals for better confirmation clarity. Enhanced multiple interfaces including submittal tabs, folders, power search, and contact management with improved SMS functionality, accurate entity counts, and proper modal closure behaviors.
Email Verification Workflow Enhancement: Fixed authentication error that occurred when users attempted to verify email addresses while not logged into ATS. Users verifying emails while logged out are now properly verified and redirected to the login page, then taken to their profile page after authentication. Already-logged-in users are taken directly to their profile page with verified email confirmation.
Job Board Application Username Assignment: Resolved issue where applicant usernames were not set when applying through job boards, causing "$username" to appear in automated "Application Received" emails. The system now automatically generates usernames using firstName-lastName format with numeric suffixes when duplicates exist for applications via generic job board, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter endpoints. Fixed related Accept Applicant email token rendering issues for Client Job ID and HR Business Partner configurations.
BrightForm PDF Download Fix: Resolved SAX parsing error that caused broken PDFs when downloading forms containing unanswered checkbox, select box, or radio elements. Users can now successfully download BrightForms with any combination of answered and unanswered form elements from the applicant form tab.
Activity Permission Enhancement: Fixed permission validation for deleting applicant user activities. Users no longer incorrectly need "View Contact Activity" permission to delete applicant user activities, with proper permission checks now applied based on entity type.
Power Search Filter Error Resolution: Fixed null request parameter errors that occurred when filtering by client and client office on contact power search, and when filtering by contact on requirement power search. Filter functionality now works correctly without console errors.
Exchange Credential Cleanup Enhancement: Implemented automatic subscription deletion when users remove Office 365 credentials. The system now properly deletes all Exchange subscriptions immediately upon credential removal, preventing unnecessary webhook processing during the previous 6-day expiration period.
Duplicate Detection Search Enhancement: Fixed search functionality on duplicate applicant and contact tables. Users can now successfully search duplicate tables with proper state field rendering for improved duplicate management.
Portal Security Enhancement: Added dedicated Security Violation page for unauthenticated portal access attempts. Users attempting to access portal resources without proper authentication now see a clear security violation message instead of generic "Resource can't be found" errors.
Spark Hire Job Creation Enhancement: Removed requirement for jobs to be published to web or internal portals before creating Spark interviews. Jobs now only need at least one job description set (internal or external) to enable Spark interview creation.
Database Query Optimization: Restructured all medium and high-impact database queries identified by analysis tools for database compatibility and performance.
This release affects all editions.
