Hiring Manager Quick Links

Understanding what Hiring Managers see in Sendout emails

Updated today

When a Hiring Manager receives a Sendout email, it may include a Quick Actions block for each candidate - displaying candidate details, profile links, and depending on your setup, AI-powered insights and disposition buttons.

When Quick Actions Are Included

Quick Actions only appear when both of the following are true:

  • The email is sent to a single Hiring Manager (no CC or BCC recipients)

  • That Hiring Manager has Workbench access

If either condition isn't met, the email is delivered without the Quick Actions block.

What's Always Included (When Quick Actions Are Present)

For every candidate, the Hiring Manager will always see:

  • Candidate vitals — title, current company, and location

  • View Candidate Profile — opens the candidate's full profile in the ATS

  • Hiring Manager Workspace — opens their Engage channel or dashboard, depending on your setup

Additional Content: Wiz AI Summary & Disposition Buttons

To include a Wiz AI summary (fit synopsis and radar chart) and action buttons (Recommend Hire, Decline, Mark in Review, star rankings, etc.), all of the following must be true:

1. The Sendout originates from a job's submittal table The Sendout must be initiated from the job submittal tab - not from a candidate profile or general candidate list. Without job context, AI summaries and disposition buttons are not included.

2. Your company has Wiz AI enabled If Wiz AI is not active on your account, the email will display a message indicating it is not enabled in place of any summary or chart.

3. The candidate has a Wiz evaluation for that job If no evaluation exists yet, the email will note that one is not available. Once an evaluation is complete and includes a summary, the synopsis and radar chart (when scores are present) will appear.

4. The Hiring Manager has the appropriate permissions Which buttons appear is determined by their assigned permissions:

Button

Required Permission

Applicant star ranking (1–5)

Edit Applicant

Submittal star ranking (1–5)

Rank Applicant Submittal

Recommend Hire / Decline

Accept Applicant Immediately / Decline Applicant Immediately

Mark in Review / Unmark in Review

Interview Applicant Immediately

If a button doesn't appear for a Hiring Manager, they likely don't have the corresponding permission. Contact your admin to review their role configuration.

5. The submittal is in an eligible status Recommend Hire, Decline, and Mark in Review only display when the candidate's submittal is in a status configured for "report as submittal." If the submittal isn't in that state, those buttons are hidden.

Open Engage Channel appears only when the Sendout is in job context, the Hiring Manager has Access Engage and Create Channel permissions, and your company has Engage SMS configured.
