What is SourceJet

BrightMove’s integration with SourceJet's 100% on-demand, SaaS model resume sourcing technology allows you to simply input your job description and key required resume skills into the user-friendly interface, and allow you to simply select which type of sources you want to search through and then SourceJet will go out to the web sweeping thousands of online resume databases to return the highest qualified Talent with the most advanced resume aggregator and recruitment technology on the market.

SourceJet takes sourcing resumes to a new level. SourceJet works as an advanced resume search engine by sourcing/aggregating resumes for your open positions and matching each against your job description on demand. An ideal compliment to job ad postings, SourceJet finds the highest quality candidates by sourcing your paid and free job board subscriptions, College resumes banks, and the web, in addition to thousands of niche sites and social media sites.

What does SourceJet cost?

Typically, SourceJet can cost up to $100 per user however with the partnership between BrightMove and SourceJet and our custom integration the cost of using SourceJet is included in the per user cost of your license agreement. (For new clients signing up after November 2010)

Activating your SourceJet account

As noted above, SourceJet is included in your monthly user license, however you need to activate it.

Activation:

Go To Settings (click on the link at the top right side of the page that displays your name to access settings) > Employees
Select the individual employee you want to activate their SourceJet account and select the button up top of the profile that says, "Create SourceJet Account"

Resetting your SourceJet Account

As noted above SourceJet is included in your monthly user license, however you may need to reset it if not working as expected.

Reset:

Go To Settings (click on the link at the top right side of the page that displays your name to access settings) > Employees
Select the individual employee you want to deactivate their SourceJet account and select the button up top of the profile that says, "Reset SourceJet Account"

Removing your SourceJet Account

As noted above SourceJet is included in your monthly user license, however you want to deactivate it.

Select the individual employee you want to deactivate their SourceJet account and select the button up top of the profile that says, "Remove SourceJet Account"

How Do I use SourceJet?

This section of the BrightMove Wiki will help teach you how to Create and Modify a New Search, Manage Searching Sources and Importing and Deleting Candidates.
Creating and Modifying a SourceJet search.

There are several types of searches that you can perform with SourceJet.

Access:

To access SourceJet you will need to hover over the applicants section at the top left quadrant of the page and select "Sourcing". Click the "Start Sourcing" button to begin.

Search Tabs:

Searches:

This tab displays your search history and provides the details for each search individually. There are action items under the "Actions" column to view, edit, copy, delete, and re-run the search.

Sources:

This tab displays the full list of available sources by default, and you can separate the Free sources from the Login Required sources using the blue button on the right-hand side of the screen. A Search bar has been added for quick, easy searching of the source list selected. The list is set to show 10 results at a time, and this number can be adjusted using the drop-down on the left-hand side of the screen.

Detailed Search:

This tab enables you to search a wide range of criteria and searches against the recruiting.com website along with any other's that you enable like Monster or CareerBuilder and Dice. All fields outlined in green are required for the search. Click the "Save Search" button to save and run the search.

Search Pay Sites:

This search will search against any pay sites that you pay to search for resumes in. All fields outlined in green are required for the search. Click the "Save Search" button to save and run the search.

Search Free Sites:

This search will allow you to search a number of Free websites, Resume Banks, College Sites, Web Community Resume Pages. All fields outlined in green are required for the search. Click the "Save Search" button to save and run the search.

Search Web Sites:

This search will allow you to search the open web for Resumes. All fields outlined in green are required for the search. Click the "Save Search" button to save and run the search.

Managing Sources

To manage the sources that SourceJet uses for Resume searching, just follow these 3 steps.

  1. Select the Sources tab and choose between All, Free, and Login Required sources.

  2. Locate your desired source via the Search field or from within the visible listing.

  3. For any source that requires a login to use, select the blue

    to open the Username, Password, and Day Limit fields.

Monster.com in SourceJet

Setting up Monster.com in SourceJet allows you to bulk import resumes found in your search results. This setup is different from our Monster.com integration which shows more details but allows only one import at a time.

CareerBuilder in SourceJet

If setting up CareerBuilder inside SourceJet, please select "CareerBuilder - Resumes (WSI recent)" from the Manage Resume Sources list and then enter your credentials.

Importing Results from a Search

Now that your search has started producing resumes you’ll want to view them and see which ones you want to bring into your database.

Note that ALL results from this search are outside of your BrightMove Database and will not be imported unless you specify them to.

If you want to view the results from a given search follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Searches tab to view your completed and pending search list.

  2. Select either the name of the search or the View Button to open the results listing.

  3. Select the View Resume button to preview the resume information. Use the "Previous Resume" and "Next Resume" buttons to scroll through your results without closing the preview window.

  4. Select the "Mark for Import" button to select the resume from the list. You can mark multiple resumes for import without ever closing the preview window! Once you have marked all the desired resumes for import, simply close the preview window.

  5. Select the "Import Resumes" button to finish the import.

Folder Import and Job Submittal Action Options

While importing your resumes, there are options to import the information into a folder for better organization and quick access as well as options to apply the newly created candidate directly to a job.

Folder Import Options:

To assign your imported resumes to a folder, select either the New or Existing buttons under the "Folder Import Options" section. Selecting the New option will allow you to create a new folder while importing the resume data into your account. If you choose the Existing option, you will be able to use a drop-down menu to select pre-existing and shared folders to assign your newly imported candidates to.

Job Submittal Action Options

To submit your imported resume profiles directly to a job, select the "Action Options" drop-down menu and choose the correct job.
