Engage runs on real-time messaging, so replies appear as they land. Open Messages from Engage, select a conversation, and communicate the way your team already works — only now it's connected directly to your reqs, candidates, and submittals.
Internal Notes and Candidate-Facing SMS in One Thread
Not every message belongs in front of a candidate. Engage supports two message types in the same conversation:
Internal — Private, team-side discussion visible only to your BrightMove users. Use it for strategy, feedback, or anything that's not ready to go external.
External — Sent over SMS to the candidate when they're part of the thread. Use it for scheduling, follow-ups, and quick questions without switching tools.
SMS length guidance (character count and segment tracking) is shown as you compose, so you know when a message will split before you send it!
Jobs and Submittals Always in Context
Engage isn't disconnected from your open reqs. When you start a conversation from a submittal, that context comes with you, the right job, the right candidate, and the right moment to collaborate, without re-explaining the situation to your team.
The submittals view on a job shows who's in play, their current status, and activity, right where you're already making decisions about who to move forward.
