The Quickest and Easiest Way to Find and Share Internal & External Job Links

BrightMove gives you multiple ways to share job opportunities, either directly from the job itself or through your internal or external job portals. While the sharing process is similar across use cases, the type of portal you select determines who can access the job.

This guide walks you through:

  • How to quickly find the direct internal/external job link on any posted job

  • How to share your full internal and external job portals

  • How to share a direct link to a specific internal or external job

Finding Direct Internal & External Links from the Job Profile

Once your job is posted, the easiest way to grab a shareable link (internal or external) is directly from the Job Profile.

  1. Open the job in BrightMove.

  2. Scroll down the left-hand “baseball card” section to view job details.

  3. Locate the Job Sharing / Posting area.

  4. Under Direct Link to Job on Candidate Portal, use the dropdown to choose either the Internal or Externalportal link.

    • Note: Internal and External portals require configuration. If you only see one option, contact your Account Configurer or review Creating a Candidate Experience Portal to set up additional portals (if you have access).

  5. Copy the link displayed beneath the dropdown and share as needed.

This section provides quick access when you want to promote an individual job internally or externally without navigating into portal settings.

Other Ways to Share Job Opportunities

Below are the full workflows for sharing internal and external job portals, as well as sharing direct links to a specific job, depending on your audience.

Sharing Internal Job Links (Employee Portal)

Use these options to make jobs visible only to current employees.

Share the Full Internal Job Portal

To give employees access to all internal-only openings:

  1. Go to Settings > Candidate Experience Portals

  2. Find the portal with Type: Employee

  3. Confirm the portal is:

    • Active

    • Secure (SSL Enabled)

  4. Click the Copy Link icon next to the portal name

Employees using this link will see all jobs marked Publish to Internal in the job’s Internal Description settings.

Share a Direct Link to a Specific Internal Job

To promote one particular job:

  1. Open the job’s Profile > Job Description tab

  2. Ensure the Web Description is filled in

  3. Switch to the Internal Description tab and enable Publish to Internal

  4. Scroll to the Job Sharing / Posting section in the left-hand baseball card

  5. Under Direct Link to Job on Candidate Portal, select your Employee Portal

  6. Click the Copy Link icon

Share this link through internal channels like email or chat.

⚠️ Note: This direct link contains a refresh=true parameter and is best for short-term use.
For long-term internal posting, link to your Employee Portal homepage instead.

Sharing External Job Links (Public Portal)

Use these options to make jobs publicly accessible on your website, job boards, or social media.

Share the Full External Job Portal

To make all public openings visible:

  1. Go to Settings > Candidate Experience Portals

  2. Find the portal labeled Type: Public and marked as Default

  3. Confirm the portal is:

    • Active

    • Secure (SSL Enabled)

  4. Click the Copy Link icon to copy the public job portal URL

This link will display all jobs that are marked Publish to Web.

Share a Direct Link to a Specific External Job

To promote a single public job:

  1. Open the job’s Profile > Job Description tab

  2. Fill in the Web Description

  3. Enable Publish to Web

  4. Scroll to the Job Sharing / Posting section in the left-hand baseball card

  5. Under Direct Link to Job on Candidate Portal, select the Default Public Portal

  6. Click the Copy Link icon

You can use this link in email campaigns, recruiter outreach, or social media.

⚠️ Note: This link includes a refresh=true parameter and is not ideal for permanent embedding on your website.
For long-term placement, link to your main Public Portal homepage instead.
