When distributing jobs through BrightMove to external job boards, your company name must match exactly what is registered on each job board's platform. A mismatch can prevent jobs from posting correctly or cause them to be rejected entirely.
This article explains how company name matching works for each supported job board.
Indeed
Indeed is the most flexible of the major job boards when it comes to company names, but it requires careful attention depending on how your account is configured.
Standard setup (no job board override): The company name on your BrightMove company profile AND your client name must both match the company name on your Indeed account exactly.
Using the Job Board Override Company Name toggle: If you have the client company name override enabled in BrightMove, only the client name needs to match the company name on your Indeed account. The top-level company profile name is not evaluated in this case.
Where to find this setting: The Job Board Override toggle is located in the Client Profile under the Basic Info section. If you don't see it, it may need to be enabled first:
Go to Settings > Field Visibility
Select Client from the dropdown
Drag and drop "Override Job Board Company" into the company layout.
Click Save
Once added, you can toggle it on or off directly from the Client Profile.

LinkedIn operates on a strict one-to-one company matching model.
Your company name in BrightMove must match your company name on LinkedIn exactly.
Your LinkedIn Company ID (f_C code) must also be entered correctly in your BrightMove company preferences.
LinkedIn does not support posting jobs under multiple company names from a single account. Each LinkedIn company page maps to one company, there is no override or workaround for this.

ZipRecruiter
ZipRecruiter supports multiple company names within a single account via their Hiring Companies feature, which allows staffing agencies and multi-brand employers to post jobs under different company names from one account. However, the company name passed from BrightMove must still match the corresponding Hiring Company name registered in your ZipRecruiter account.
Monster
Monster follows the same one-to-one matching model as LinkedIn. Your company name in BrightMove must match your registered Monster account name exactly. There is no concept of a company name override.
Note: Monster offers both free and paid account tiers. The paid account is tied directly to a company account, making name matching especially important for paid customers.
Other Job Boards
The following boards all follow the same one-to-one matching rule - the company name in BrightMove must match what is registered on the respective platform:
Talent.com
Glassdoor (pulls from Indeed — Indeed matching rules apply)
Jooble (pulls from ZipRecruiter — ZipRecruiter matching rules apply)

Tips
Company name matching is case-sensitive on most platforms. Make sure punctuation, abbreviations, and spacing are identical to what is on file with each job board.
If jobs are failing to post to a specific board, a company name mismatch is one of the first things to check.
For LinkedIn specifically, a missing or incorrect FC code will prevent posting even if the company name is correct. Confirm both fields are accurate in your BrightMove company preferences.
